Our wafers

Wafer is used in nougat, pastries and confectionery in general. It is primarily made of potato starch. All the raw materials in our products are free from gluten, allergens, GMOs and radioactivity. This makes our wafer very versatile, suitable for all types of consumers. Currently, the expiry date of the product is fixed at 18 months, during which time it retains all its properties. Storage of the product is simple: it should be stored in a cool and dry place.

Almond casings in bulk: the basic ingredient is wheat flour. Used with soft nougat fillings which when combined with the crispness of the product produce a very pleasant texture.

WAFER IN COILS

One of our most popular formats

This is next-generation wafer. Manufactured in coils with a width of up to 95 cm. The approximate length of application of each coil is usually around 75 m.

It is mainly used to laminate hard nougat products or similar, but it can be used in various applications for this type of manufacturing.

WEAKENED WAFER

Ideal for boxes containing hard nougat

This rectangular wafer has a series of transverse grooves which make it ideal as a lining for boxes containing hard nougat.

We produce them in various sizes to suit any product.

ROUND WAFER

The most versatile format for all types of use

Circular wafers in various sizes to suit any product. The sizes that we currently produce range from 40 mm to 440 mm in diameter, as well as small oval formats.

Widely used in baking, bread and pastry applications, as well as the well-known hard nougat disks.

CASINGS

For almond sweets filled with nougat cream

Almond casings: available in packs of 19 units or in bulk. The basic ingredient of the product is wheat flour.

Used with soft nougat fillings which when combined with the crispness of the product produce a very pleasant texture.

RECTANGULAR WAFER

Mainly used for hard nougat

Rectangular wafers cut into various sizes to suit any product.

Widely used in baking, bread and pastry applications, as well as the well-known hard nougat bars.

Organic wafers

Manufactured with organic raw materials

Wafers made entirely with organic raw materials. These wafers retain the same quality and characteristics as all our wafers, broadening their application in any product within the organic manufacturing market.

Coloured wafers in multiple sizes

Discover our new product, suitable for all types of consumers. Maintaining the same quality control in all our raw materials. Free from allergens, GMOs, gluten and radioactivity.

At Obleas Farmacéuticas e industrials, we are in the process of developing new products which are adapted to the characteristics of our customers maintaining the quality and service for which we have become renowned over more than three generations.

Maintaining the sector’s most advanced production process, we have begun producing coloured and flavoured wafers that are smooth on both sides, ideal for use in various pastry products and for printing with edible ink, with a host of applications and various finishes in terms of colour and flavour.

We currently produce five colours of wafer: yellow, orange, blue, pink and green, in various formats and sizes, either circular or rectangular. We also produce white wafer with the same characteristics.
